The past week has seen an outpouring of emotions by Americans, many of whom are still shell-shcoked by the outcome of the election. So what did they do? They went to the movies, in huge numbers. Either there are particularly good films out at the moment or there was something attractive about retreating, en mass to a large room with copious amounts of popcorn. What just happened?
