The sexual harassment scandal, prompted by allegations against Harvey Weinstein, has empowered some women in Los Angeles to take up self-defense classes. I spoke to Emily Moser, an assistant instructor at SHIELD Women's Self-Defense, about her work and the response of students to the #metoo and #timesup movements. We also hear from SHIELD founder, Nelson Nio.
