Carol Rosenstein is the Director and Co-Founder Music Mends Minds - a charitable organization based in Los Angeles which creates musical groups for - and made up of - people with Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s and other disorders affecting the brain. Carol formed Music Mends Minds with her husband Irwin, who was diagnosed with Parkinson's and early dementia more than a decade ago. Their band is called The Fifth Dementia.
Brandon Carone is a research assistant in the Memory and Cognition Lifespan Lab at the University of California UCLA and a research coordinator with Music Mends Minds.
