Johanna Blakley is the Managing Director and Director of Research, The Norman Lear Center, Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California.  '

She studies the impact on our world of mass media and entertainment and joined me and Rhod Sharp on BBC Radio 5 Live to discuss the upcoming Oscars, politics and social media a major USC studio on Africa and the media.
