Ed Avol: Professor of clinical preventive medicine

Ed Avol is a professor of clinical preventive medicine and head of the Division of Environmental Health at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. For the past two months - and more - LA has experienced unhealthy air and high ozone levels at a level that means we could potentially be putting our health at risk if we spend a lot of time outside.  Prof. Avol joined me to discuss the wider implications of living in one of the smoggiest cities in the world and what we can do about it.
